“To travel is to discover the light within yourself.”
My professional life has always been a search for beauty. For over a decade, as Founder and Editor-in-Chief of moretrends.gr, I have been immersed in the world of aesthetics, lifestyle and design. I learned early on that true luxury is never about excess. It is about the story, the craftsmanship and the authenticity of a moment.
Four years ago, that search became deeply personal. Driven by a visceral love for my country, I created @travelgreece. It was never a planned project, but an organic extension of how I experience Greece. I wanted to capture the quieter side of our islands, the architectural honesty of a boutique hideaway and those fleeting moments that define our heritage. The scent of jasmine in an island alley. The stillness of early morning light. The feeling of being exactly where you are meant to be.
What began as a visual sanctuary for my own inspiration soon evolved into a global community. A community of people searching for the same thing. A Greece that feels like a home, not just a destination.
Today, that journey finds a new home.
Welcome to the Travel Greece Edit.
This English-language pillar on moretrends.gr is where my editorial background meets my personal perspective. A curated space where I can finally go beyond the image. Here, I share the edits of my travels, not as lists, but as stories.
In this space, you will find:
The Living Edit: Destinations and hidden corners, exactly as I experience them. Early morning walks, the scent of the sea, and the authentic pulse of a place.
The Aesthetic Eye: A personal selection of stays and spaces that honour Greek architecture and design.
The Rituals of Living: A slower, more soulful way of experiencing Greece.
The Insider’s Heart: Reflections on the places and people that make this country feel timeless.
As an Editor, I believe in the power of curation. As a Greek, I believe in the power of light. The Travel Greece Edit is my invitation to see Greece through my eyes. Sophisticated, authentic and quietly poetic.
Thank you for being part of this story.
